Richard Unger is a NYC-based animator and recent college graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design. His vision and craft are at the intersection of animation and puppetry, with a goal of understanding the relationship between moving image and the consumer. His artistic ethos revolves around focusing on limiting the use and reliance on technology, and returning to a more humanistic and relatable artist experience while innovating and moving forward at the same time. Richard's interests and passions include the theatrical arts, traditional and experimental animation, and contemporary and experimental puppetry.
